If you really want your child to learn with wooden toys then you will be pleased to know that you can even purchase wooden books. Again these are designed for all age groups and children do actually love to read them. Most children love learning new things and wooden books give them the chance to learn new words and see new pictures.

Overall wooden toys are still extremely popular and as long as you purchase good quality toys, there is no chance of your child getting injured from them unlike with plastic toys. Do keep in mind that wooden toys do need some level of care as in certain circumstances they can go rotten and that would not be healthy for the child, especially if they were to put the toy in their mouth. So keep an eye on the toys and make sure that they are in good condition at all times. Try and take care of them by putting them away and not leaving them outside all the time. If you follow this advice you will end up with wooden toys which last quite a while!
